DEDICATED GAS HEATED CHEST
Lapauw is the only manufacturer that uses a dedicated chest for its gas heated and steam heated ironers. By doing so, Lapauw optimizes performance and reliability of the ironers.
The chest used on the gas heated ironer is a thin flexible chest.
 
100% CARBON STEEL PREVENTS ‘COLD SPOTS’ IN THE CHEST
Lapauw is the only ironer manufacturer that manufacturers his chests fully in high grade carbon steel.
With a heat conduction factor 4 times higher than stainless steel, a carbon steel chest propagates heat much faster. By using only carbon steel for its chests, Lapauw assures optimal heat distribution over the full ironing surface, preventing “cold spots”.

INTEGRATED GAS HEATING SYSTEM SAVES MONEY
The Lapauw gas heated ironer comes with the gas heating system completely integrated within the Ironer framework, even when we are talking about 2-roll or 3-roll ironers.
This enables Lapauw to deliver you a “plug and play” machine, that cuts installation time...and costs.
And what about your folder at the back?
As the Lapauw gas heated ironer does not have a bulky heat exchanger at the back, the folder does not require an extension to its standard nose roll take off assembly.
 
HYDRAULICS GUARANTEES A CONSISTENT IRONING QUALITY.
Unlike common flexible chest technologies that rely on pneumatics to lower and raise the roll, Lapauw uses hydraulics to lift the chest;.
The hydraulic system is fully integrated, giving you a fail-safe system, independent from any external source (air compressor).
This is how Lapauw guarantees you a consistent and reliable pressure between chest and roll.
 
MAXIMUM MOISTURE REMOVAL.
The bridge between the rolls on the 2-roll and 3-roll ironers is gas heated. This provides additional evaporation power to your ironer.
 
LAPAUW INDIVIDUAL SPRINGS : DESIGNED FOR SPEED
The thick, stitched padding is firmly held in place by the individual springs, assuring it does not shift of get damaged when the ironer runs at high speed.

CONTROL YOUR INSTALLATION AND OPERATIONAL COSTS
The 2-roll and 3-roll Lapauw ironers have a single drive motor. A propeller shaft between the first and second roll assures the speed synchronization.
The propeller shaft is easy to install and requires very little maintenance during the ironer’s life cycle.
